In the following Census record you can see that Harold J. is living in the household of Walter S. Peterson and his wife Anna. Walter was Harold's father's brother. Harold J., (my Grandfather) went to live with them after his mother (Lizzy Kuhn) passed away.

As a child I can still remember my Grandfather speaking of his Aunt Annie. I had no idea at the time who he was talking about. It only makes sense to me now. He must have been talking about Anna Peterson.

Also, I now know that Harold's sister Garnet, went to live with Aleta (Kuhn) Rood and Aleta's husband John. Aleta was Lizzie's sister.
