Notes on MOSES PETERSON, JR.: (Notes by Beth Whitson) Moses Jr. served the Union during the Civil War enlisted as a Private in Company A, 3rd Mounted Infantry Regiment, NC. Depending on when he served, at the end of the war, he would have only been 19.
