Clem Peterson is a part of US Black heritage.

Daughter of Mose Peterson and Lucy Howard

It does appear that she was married sometime between 1910 and 1920, but by 1920 she was widowed with 3 children born 1910, 1913, and 1918 and all children all bear the last name of Peterson.
