Biography

The Record, Hackensack, N.J., Mon. Aug. 29, 1921
John A. Peterson, aged fifty-three years passed away at his home, 85 Arthur street, on Saturday, following a long illness.

Deceased is survived by his widow and five children, one son and four daughters, the Misses Lena [sic Ena] and Eva, at home. Miss Stella, a trained nurse, had been in almost constant attendance at her father's be[d]side.

Funeral services, conducted by Revs. Martin, of the Swedish Lutheran and Fraser of the Baptist churches, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late residence. Interment will be made in New York Cemetery.
