Biography
Elizabeth was born about 1867. She was the daughter of Daniel Petrie and Janet Montgomery. Her parents and elder siblings emigrated to New Zealand from Scotland aboard the vessel "Queen of the Mersey". This vessel departed England on 5 July 1862 and arrived into Lyttelton on 19 October 1862. Elizabeth was born after their arrival into New Zealand.
She married William Edgar Evans in 1897.
Elizabeth passed away in 1936, aged 67.
