Burial Sep 1762, Hop Meadow Cemetery, Simsbury, Ct.
The will of Joseph Pettibone was abstracted in The Connecticut Nutmegger, vol. 39 (2006), p. 278. He names daughter Bathsheba Grimes and granddaughters Mary, Basheba, and Thanks Canada. This tells us that Mary was likely older than Bathsheba and Thanks, that Robert Kanada and his daughter Eleanor were apparently dead by 11 Aug. 1762, when the will was written, and that Bathsheba had remarried by that date.
