Research Notes
- The Last Name at Birth is not known although it is set to /PETTIGREW/ as that was the surname of her first husband. The secondary source ThePeerage.com shows Thomas as her father rather than husband but it uses Clan MacFarlane for its source, which has him as the husband. Both of these sources are short on primary sources. Both Johnston and Anderson refer to her as the relict (i.e. widow) of Thomas Pettigrew. The LNAB should be set to /UNKNOWN/.
