Sarah Petts was born about 1705 in Beverly, Massachusetts[1], daughter of John Patch (1686-1756) and Abigail Raymond (1687-1762). On 5 Nov 1724 in Greenland, New Hampshire[2], she married Robert Avery (1700-1756). Sarah was admitted to the Greenland church in 1728[3]. They removed to Townsend, Massachusetts shortly after their parents did, around 1730, between the births of their second and third children. They had eleven children all together.
Robert Avery passed away 26 Sep 1756 in Townsend[17]. Widow Sarah Avery appears in the settlement documents for his estate, which end 28 Jun 1762[18]. No further record of Sarah has been found after that date.
