Delia (Pettway) Bennett is Notable.
Delia Pettaway Bennett was an American artist. She is associated with the famed Gee's Bend quilting collective, and is said to be "the matriarch of perhaps the largest family of quilt producers in Gee's Bend.[1]
Delia Pettaway was born in 1892. She was the daughter of Stamper Pettway and Pleasant Bryan.
She married Eddie Bennet in 1909 in Wilcox County, Alabama. [2]
Delia died in November, 1976. [3]
