1900 Census. William was living in Navarro, Texas. He was 76 and a widow. This record does show he was born in Tennessee in December 1824. It also shows that his father was born in NC and his mother was born in TN. He was the head of the household with two sons and two daughters living with him. The four children were: Johnnie S. age 33; Robert age 28; Maud age 25 and Minnie age 23. All of the children were born in Texas.[1]
