Research Notes

Hi! I'm working on clearing the Ontario, Needs Birth Record Category and came across this profile for Jane.

Birth registrations were not started in Ontario until 1869, so unfortunately there is no record to find to confirm her birth. I have corrected her place of birth by adding the township and county. Arkell is the community, Puslinch is the township, Wellington is the County. The country is Canada West as she was born in 1862 and we weren't officially Canada until 1869.

I also found a secondary Find A Grave: Memorial #58904711 which looks like her but the dates are slightly different? This one does have a photo although it is poor and the dates are not easily read.
