Elizabeth was born 22 December 1840 in Montgomery County, Missouri, the daughter of Erasmus Dowell Pew and Lucy Anderson.
In 1865 she was married to Absalom Thompson Franklin in Moberly, Missouri. A T. was an agent for the North Missouri Railroad.
At the time of the 1860 U.S. Census, she was living In Moberly Township; she was listed as: Franklin, Elizabeth T.; age 28; F; W; keeping house; born Missouri;[1] Ten years later, at the time of the 1880 U.S. Census, she was 38 and living in Moberly, MIssouri, along with her husband, A. T. Franklin, and their daughter Mary Franklin. Her husband, A.J., was working as a "stationary engineer," for the railroad.[2]
She died 15 May 1895 in Chicago, Illinois. Her remains were buried in Chicago.[3]
