She taught Latin a few years, was a correspondent for a Macomb, Il.,newspaper until her time was taken up raising two children. She is bur. in Colchester Cemetery with the Schwerer family. She belonged to the DAR, Founders and Patriots, The Peyton Society of Virginia and other organizations. Sheis also listed in the Royal Descendants in Am., Vol. 5., 1972 by Count d'Angerville. London, Eng. Edna and Louis Schwerer had two children, Joseph, graduate of the Roosevelt Military Academy, Aledo, Il., and B. A. Univ. of Illinois. Joseph Peyton Schwerer married Patricia Ann Lankford. They have 3 sons, and 6 grandchildren. Daughter, Elaine, attended Ward Belmont. Elaine married Harvey Stuckwisch of Warsaw, but were married in Yuma, AZ., and have lived ever since in California.
