He entered Trinity College Dublin on 1 July 1840, aged 18. B.A. 1847. Name on Alumni register - Walter Conyngham Peyton. [1]
He was ordained in 1847. He was the incumbent of Billis Parish, County Cavan for 45 years.
Walter married Margaret McCreight on 12 June 1856 at Mellifont, County Leitrim. [2]
