Sir Robert Peyton is the 4th son of Sir Henry Peyton examiner in Chancery 1632-54, of Chancery Lane, London and his wife Katherine (Clifton) Peyton.
He was knighted on 12 July 1670 and was a Member of Parliament (the Long Parliament), from Middlesex in 1678. [1]
Sir Robert Peyton married Jane Robinson, daughter of Lionel Robinson of Cowton Grange, Yorks. They had a son Craven Peyton. [1]
1689 - 3 May, Robert passed away, with a fever, 2 days after drinking bad claret. [2] He is buried in St Dunstan in the West Burial Ground, Fleet Street, City of London, Greater London, England the same Cemetery as his parents. [3]
