CATHERINE PEYTON was baptized at St. Margaret's, Westminster, 10th July 1641, and was still unmarried on 14th May 1684, when she administered to her father's estate. She married shortly afterwards Sir Thomas Longueville Bart, of Wolverton, Bucks, who died 25th June 1685. She was his second wife, and survived him above thirty years, for she died 30th Dec. 1715, and was buried in Westminster Abbey on 7th Jan. following.
