Hi David. I was looking for the Stephen Peyton who married Nancy Doughty so I dropped off what I found for this profile (d. 1833). The marriage of Stephen and Nancy Doughty, dau. of Thomas the Blacksmith, occurred in Nicholas Co. in 1807 and it appears by the documents I have located Samuel Peyton (maybe this Stephen's brother) was his father who gave consent in person & signed the bond. That old Samuel appeared during the 1810 census over age 45 in Carlisle. I will drop a research section on Samuel's profile. Thanks, Honi
