Lydia "Lidu" Phelps

Death 18 JUN 1779 Granville, Hampden, Massachusetts, United States
Lydia was born about 1740. Lydia Phelps. She married Job Stiles, Jr. of Hebron CT on March 30, 1758. The marriage took place in Colchester, CT. They resided in Granville, MA and had four children; Eunice b. 1761; Job III born Feb 21, 1764( who died before his second birthday); Lydia b. Nov 4, 1769; and Job, b. Nov 4, 1769.
Lydia, or Ledy as she was known died June 18, 1779. She is buried at the Main Road Cemetery in Granville Center. Her tombstone is inscribed: "In memory of Mrs. Lydia, wife of Job Stiles, Jun., who died June 18, 1770 in the 41 year of her age"
