Sarah Phelps was born May 5 1774 in Windsor, Connecticut, to John Phelps (b. 4 Jul 1750) and Diana/Dinah (Marshall) Phelps.^{[1] [2]} Sarah had four known siblings.^[1]

Sarah married Moses Grant (son of Elijah and Mary Grant) Feb 9 1793 in Colebrook / Norfolk, Connecticut. ^{[3] [2]}
