Biography

Sarah Phelps was born May 5 1774 in Windsor, Connecticut, to John Phelps (b. 4 Jul 1750) and Diana/Dinah (Marshall) Phelps.[1] [2] Sarah had four known siblings.[1]

Sarah married Moses Grant (son of Elijah and Mary Grant) Feb 9 1793 in Colebrook / Norfolk, Connecticut. [3] [2]

The couple settled in Norfolk, Connecticut and had several known children, including: [3][4]
