Damaris (Phelps) Moore's marriage to William Moore is recorded in the Windsor-Bloomfield Congregational Church. This source proves that Damaris Phelps is the child of Josiah and Sarah (Winchell) Phelps. At one time many genealogists confused her with another Damaris Phelps who was born in Simsbury, CT. This second Damaris was born in 1702 while the above Damaris was born in 1699. One can see where they were easily confused. My Damaris Phelps-Moore was born in Poquonock, Hartford Co., CT.
