Biography

Elihu was born to David Phelps Ruth Ward in 1785^[1].

In 1809, he married Candace Ford^[1][2] and they had two children^{[1][3][4][5][6]}:

1. Lois b. 1810
2. Amanda b. 1814

He first settled in Hillsdale, New York^[7]. In 1841, he moved to Pennsylvania. In 1842, to Waverly, New York and in 1853, to Baraboo, Wisconsin^[1][8].

He passed away in 1866.
