Ebenezer Phelps served with Albany County, New York Militia during the American Revolution.

from FG: Born c.1759, Ebenezer Phelps was an American patriot who fought in the Revolutionary War. He and his wife, Submit, are interred with four daughters: the infant Sally, 22-year-old Melinda, 25-year-old Lovina Phelps Havens, and 62-year-old Electa Phelps Gillespie. A grandson, the infant Benjamin Havens (d.1807), is also buried here.
