Mary Phelps (Phelpes) was baptised at Avebury, Wiltshire, on 14 March 1669. Her father was Pichardi (Richard?) Phelps, and her mother was Ann. Mary Phelpes married John Stratton at Lydiard Tregoze, Wiltshire, on 14 Sep 1691. Their son Richard Stratton may have been the second of several children, baptised at Brinkworth, Wiltshire, in 1697. Mary Stratton was buried at Brinkworth on 28 Dec 1723.
