In 1841 census at Kilspindie, Perth the family is shown as: John 39, Margaret 40, Alexr 15, Janet 13, Wilm 9, George 7, Robt 5, James 3 and Henreita 0 [2].
In the Scotland census of 1861, there is a Henereta Philip aged 20 years, dairy maid born Perthshire as a servant in the home of Thomas and Barbara Brown [3].
Henrietta married Henry McPherson in May 1863 in Scone, Perthshire, England. They had eleven children: 3 sons and 8 daughters. Papers report a Henry and Mrs H Macpherson in the passenger list steerage for the "Telegraph" arriving in Auckland 6 Jul 1863 [4].
Henrietta passed away in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand in 1919 and she is buried in the Havelock North cemetery [5]. Her find a grave profile [6].
