Mary Grover was my great great aunt; her brother, Joel Grover (1828-1874) was my great grandfather. I have been looking off and on or years for cinfirmation of who the father is of Mary's son, Josiah Phillips (1855-1933). His death certificate says Josiah Phillips is his father. And I'd always assumed it was Josiah Phillips (1818-1862), Civil War soldier who died in 1862 New Orleans; his wife, Emily Sherman died in 1855). But there is no record of marriage I could find. Is there any record of a relationship between Josiah Phillips (1818-1862) and Mary Grover (1828-1911)?
