Etty was born on December 14, 1874 at Bull Creek in Scott County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Jeremiah Phillips and Malinda ( Delk ) Phillips. Etty married Lewis A Lloyd on January 26, 1897 in Scott County. She passed away on January 8, 1907.
