Biography

It cannot be confirmed that Ephraim is the son of Isaac, but he was living next door to Nicholas Smith, father of Jacob Smith who married Nancy Phillips, daughter of Isaac Phillips. Nancy Phillips and Ephraim were probably siblings. Ephraim died sometime between 1830 and 1840, before Isaac who died in 1843. That might be why his name is not listed in Isaac's Will.
