1841 - 1861 Census

On 6 June 1841, 45 year old miner James Penberthy, his wife Amelia (40), and four children, James (15), Elizabeth (10), Mary (10) and Tomason (7), were living at Fore Street, St Ives, Cornwall, England. [4]
On 30 March 1851, 57 year old tin miner James Penberthy, his wife Amelia (50), and three children, Elizabeth (23), Thomasine (18) and Susanna (8) were living at The Stennack, St Ives, Cornwall, England. [1]
On 7 April 1861, 67 year old James Penberthy and his 63 year old wife Amelia, together with their daughters, Thomasine Rowe (26) and Susannah Penberthy (17), and grandchildren, John Penberthy (9), Benjamin Penberthy (5) and Charles Rowe (2 months), were living at Virgin Street, St Ives, Cornwall, England. [2]


Amelia Penberthy died in 1865. Her death was registerd between July and September 1865 in Penzance District, Cornwall, England. [5]
