Biography
Sterling and Lucy McDonald, from Summerside, were married in Rumford, Maine in 1907.
In 1918, Sterling filled out a WW1 registration form in Roxbury, Massachusetts. His wife Lucy McDonald Phillips died in Boston in 1919.
After Lucy's death three of their children were living with their maternal grandparents in 1921.
