ELIZABETH CHASE PHILLIPS was born on October 13, 1823, at Grafton, Rensselaer, New York. She was the daughter of JOSEPH PHILLIPS and HANNAH COMSTOCK.
She married CHARLES HUDSON Sr. in 1840, at Dexter Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan. He was the son of ANNA ABBOTT and CHARLES HUDSON. He died at Argos, Marshall County, Indiana, on 16 October 1854. He is buried in Argos Cemetery, Argos Township, Marshall County, Indiana.
