Biography

Charlie was born in 1903. He was the son of James Phillips and Mary McBride. [1]

He was a textile dye worker and married on 23 Feb 1923/24 (?) at Alamance County, North Carolina to Mabel Estelle Wrenn, [2] [3] and they had children: [4] [5]

Note: There are two marriage records for Charlie and Mabel, one dated 23 Feb 1923 and one dated 23 Feb 1924.

Charlie passed away in 1958 [9] and is buried at Carolina Christian Church Cemetery in Burlington, North Carolina. [10]
