Virginia Isabelle Phillips was born 18 Jul 1858 in Kentucky. See Research Notes. She was the daughter of Andrew Phillips and Amanda McCulley.
In the 1860 census, she was recorded as V. I. Phillips, age 2, living in Hopkins County (P.O. Madisonville), Kentucky with her parents and siblings.[1]
She passed away, age 6, on 8 May 1865 and is buried in Old Shiloh Cemetery, Bremen, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky.[2]
Research Notes
Currently her Find A Grave memorial says she was born in Bremen, Muhlenberg, Kentucky, but she could have been born and died in Hopkins County, Kentucky, since she was living in Hopkins County in 1860.
