William John Phillips, son of John and Elizabeth, was baptised 16 Oct 1842 in Redruth, Cornwall, England. [1]

The family emigrated to Australia on the Hannah Maria, arriving in 1853. [2]

William married Mary Ann Downing on 26 Dec 1864 in Harrogate, South Australia. [3]

He passed away in 1914, aged 72. [4]
