Hi Troy

I wanted to ask you about the changes you have made to the South Australia Sources and Citations page. I was of the understanding that the link to Genealogy SA in the recommended citation was to their home page because changes in the past to their database search would throw up data doctor errors on WikiTree.

Regards,

Karyn

Hi Troy

You have an unsaved draft on the profile for Marcus Laurence Elwin (Olifent) Oliphant AC KBE (1901-2000). I was going to add him to the Jubilee 150 Walkway, Adelaide, South Australia category, could you look at the draft and add him to the category when you are finished please. Thanks, Karyn

Hi Troy

I hope you don't mind I've linked up some of the names on your FSP: Old Colonists Photo Mosaic, South Australia to some existing profiles. I have used some of those pictures on profiles over the years as part of one of the projects I'm involved in.

If you're happy I'd love to add some more links at another time.

Hi Troy,

We're contacting you for the annual Australia Project membership checkin. We really appreciate your involvement in the Project in the last year. Thank you so much for all your help to improve Australian profiles on WikiTree.

Please could you reply to this message, or send me a private message to let us know if you'd like to stay on in the Project, and if you'd like to make any changes to the teams that you belong to. The teams are listed on Australia Project Teams.

If you've moved on to other things for the moment, that's absolutely fine. We'd appreciate if you'd let us know so that we can remove you from the membership list.

Over the past year, Australia Project members have been more active on Discord. We're finding it a fun way to communicate as a project. If you're not on Discord yet, here's some information - Help:Discord. If you are already on the WikiTree Discord server, let us know, and we can send you an invite link to the dedicated Australia Project server (WikiAustralia) where all our chat channels are located. It's a great way to communicate with other members on your project team/s, or for any general questions.

We're always happy to receive any ideas or suggestions that you have to make our project even better.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

The Australia Project Leadership Team ~ Gillian, Margaret and Veronica

Hi Margaret, I would love to remain in the project, although I have been less active recently.

I will need to be invited to the Australian project discord again please Thanks, Troy

Hi Troy, could you add a few lines of content to this empty category, https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Women%27s_Auxiliary_Australian_Air_Force%2C_Royal_Australian_Air_Force%2C_World_War_II

Many thanks, regards, Margaret

Hi Troy,

It's time for the annual Australia Project membership checkin. Thank you so much for contributing to the project and Australian profiles on WikiTree during the last year. We really appreciate you!

If you would like to stay in the project, please reply to this message or send me a private message to let us know that you would like to stay on. Alternatively, if your WikiTree and research interests have moved away from Australia, please let us know and we can remove you from the membership list for the moment. You will, of course, be very welcome to rejoin the project down the track whenever you want to.

We are also keen to know if you want to make any changes to the team or teams that you want to focus on. Take a look on Australia Project Teams to see what teams there are to choose from. If you want to discuss this, or have any questions or suggestions about the Australia Project we'd love to hear your ideas.

Thanks for taking the time to get back to us!

Kind Regards Margaret Haining Membership Coordinator

Very happy to stay in the Australia project thanks

Hello again,

I sent you a check-in message a week ago about the Military and War Project to ask you about your continued involvement but have not yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the project? If I don’t hear from you by the same time next week I’ll assume that you’ve moved on to other things but you’re most welcome to re-join the project at any time.

Best wishes,

Troy, Thanks so much for being part of the Toddlin' Tortoises Team for the 1st Connect-a-Thon for 2022. Every well-sourced profile added helps to grow a healthier Tree!

Hello Troy,

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.

Thanks, I don’t intend to do anything in-depth for profiles that early (at least in near future ) - I was just fixing a location category ;)
