Hammon Coleman and Alaphare Phillips married 15 Aug 1884 in Pike County, KY.[1]
In 1900 a Hammond Coalman (b. Oct 1864 in KY, farming, married 14 years, both parents b. KY) headed a Pike County, KY household with wife Alifair Coalman (b. May 1867 in KY, married 14 years, 1 child living, both parents b. KY), son William Coalman (b. Aug 1888 in KY, farm labor, both parents b. KY), and mother-in-law Clarinda Philipps (b. May 1827 in KY, widowed, 11 children with 6 living, both parents b. KY).
A FamilySearch family tree listed a Hammon Coleman (Oct 1864-11 Oct 1924) married to a Mathursa Alafare Phillips (1867-1944).[2]
