Emily was born in 1886, daughter of John Philp and Margaret Rose Talbot.[1]
Emily Philp married Thomas Stewart Brown on 8 March 1905 at 16 Robert St, Footscray, Victoria by Rev. Mr Gibson at the bride's uncle's (Alexander Simpson) residence. [2]
In 1931 she was living at 7 Norfolk St, Moonee Ponds, Victoria with her husband Thomas Stewart Brown (watchmaker) and two sons, George Thomas Brown (roof tiler) & Ernest Brown (metal polisher) [3]
Her husband Thomas passed away in 1944, aged 65.
She passed away in 1971 [4] and was buried at the Altona Memorial Park, Robinson Lawn (A), Row 23, Grave 36 on 16 December 1971. [5][6]
