Louisa PHILP, daughter of William PHILP and Sarah HARVEY, was born on 20 April 1850 in Raymond Terrace, Colony of New South Wales [1] and died on 30 January 1904 in Ulmarra, New South Wales, Australia [2][3] at age 53.
Louisa married Charles AVERY, son of John Able AVERY and Charlotte Emma DAVIS, on 29 October 1874 in Kangaroo Creek, Colony of New South Wales [4].
Charles was born on 19 July 1830 in Windsor, Colony of New South Wales and died on 14 December 1911 in Clarence River, New South Wales, Australia at age 81.

Avery, of Cowper, died very suddenly at her residence at 2 o'clock on Saturday morning. On Friday deceased visited her daughter, who resides below Cowper, returning by one of the river boats in the afternoon apparently in the best of health, retiring for the night as usual. She was taken ill some time after midnight and succumbed in an hour. The deceased was only 52, and leaves a husband and family to mourn their loss. Two sons are engaged in farming at Cowper, two daughters reside in New Zealand, while a third is connected with the Crown Hotel. The funeral took place yesterday.
