Biography

Benjamin Philpott was born before 1727. He would have been of legal age (21) when he was bequeathed a slave by his cousin, John Philpott on 11 March 1749, and he was at least one year older than his brother, Samuel. Benjamin was a son of John Philpott and Anne Cottrell.

Benjamin Philpott died between 1 January and 15 June 1787 at Charles County, Maryland. [1]
