Biography

Martha Elizabeth "Mattie" Philpott was born 16 June 1876 at Henry County, Virginia.^[1] She was a daughter of George Philpott and Victoria Turner.

In 1904, at Henry County, Martha Philpott married John J. Finney.^[1][2][3]

Martha died 4 August 1973 probably at Henry County. She was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, at Martinsville, Henry County.^[1]
