Biography
Thomas was born in 1798, the son of George Phin and Mary unknown. [1]
In 1826, Thomas Phin married Elizabeth Falconer.[2]
Thomas Phin passed away 1863, aged 65 years. His death was registered in the Colony of Victoria, giving his birthplace as Scotland and his parents as George Phin and Mary, her maiden name unknown to the informant. [3]

Died at his farm, Comley Banks, Purnim, Mr Thomas Phin, formerly of Edinburgh, aged 65. The deceased was one of the early farmers, and highly respected. He and his brother-in-law, Mr Falconer were great supporters of the Presbyterian Church in the district. [4]
