Biography
Samuel Register Pickering was born in Lafayette, Montgomery, Virginia, United States. His parents were Thomas Benton Pickering 1809–1864 and Elizabeth Louisa Dobbs 1811–1873.
He married Sarah Hartman on 29 Oct 1871, Greene, Tennessee.[1]
They lived in Richmond District (Gilley Precinct), Wise, Virginia, United States in 1900[2]
