Biography

Samuel Register Pickering was born in Lafayette, Montgomery, Virginia, United States. His parents were Thomas Benton Pickering 1809–1864 and Elizabeth Louisa Dobbs 1811–1873. ​

He married Sarah Hartman on 29 Oct 1871, Greene, Tennessee.[1]

They lived in Richmond District (Gilley Precinct), Wise, Virginia, United States in 1900[2]
