Biography

Samuel was born on February 5, 1757.[1]

On November 14, 1782, Samuel Pickering, Junior and Phebe Likins, both of Frederick County, Virginia, were married at the Hopewell Meetinghouse, Frederick Virginia.[2][3]

On October 2, 1802, Samuel Pickering, his wife Phebe, and their seven children, Jonas, Levi, Samuel, Rebekah, Mary, Phebe and Joshua received a certificate from the Crooked Run MM, Warren, Virginia to remove to the Concord MM, Ohio.[4]

In 1806, Samuel Pickering and his uncle Jacob Pickering were living in Plainfield, Ohio.[5]
