Birthdate estimated from inscription "Aged 80 Ys 4 Mo"[1]
It is believed that Joanna and David were married on 15 Apr 1838 at St. James Episcopal Church in Skaneateles, New York[2] but the actual record itself has not been viewed. The only potential direct relative found could be Samuel Pickett, who is buried at Maple Grove cemetery in Otisco, New York,[3] born about August 1802. As of 1 August 1960, there were seven known Pickett family members buried in the old abandoned Otisco cemetery:[4]

- Pickett, Samuel d. 5 Apr 1875 ae 72y 8m (born about August 1802)
- Pickett, Jennett d. 21 Dec 1841 ae 38y 5m, w/o Samuel (born about July 1803)
- Picket, Emeline 1846-1854
- Picket, Sopronia 1840-1864
- Picket, Ida 1854-1880
- Picket, Emory L. 1856-1881
Of these, only Emory, Emeline, and Sopronia could be seen on the main pillar, while Jennett and Samuel have their own headstones.
