Biography

Charles Pidcock, the son of John Pidcock and Elizabeth (Brown) Pidcock, was born on 17 Jan 1820 in Darley Dale, Derbyshire, England.

Charles was baptized on 13 Feb 1820 at St. Helen’s Church, Darley Dale, Derbyshire.

Charles married Ann Foster on 11 Jul 1842 in Leeds, Yorkshire. They had at least seven children together. Ann died late in 1873 and Charles then married Elizabeth Crawford on 5 Jun 1876 at St. Andrew’s Church, Swanwick, Derbyshire and had two more daughters.

Charles died early in 1891 in Swanwick which is in Belper Registration district, Derbyshire.

I cannot find Charles in the 1841 census. I have found his mother (his father was dead by then) and his family, but Charles is away.
