Biography
Edward Pier was born on March 31, 1807 in Vermont. His father, Calvin Pier was a tanner and currier turned farmer. His mother was Esther Evarts and her father, Edward's grandfather, served in the Revolutionary War.
Edward married Harriet N Kendall on June 2, 1829. They had 4 children together. Edward died at 1:15am on November 10, 1877 at his daughter Ruth Harvey's house in Wisconsin. He is buried at Pier Cemetery in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
