Caleb Pearce was born on June 12, 1690 in Scituate, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay, son of Benjamin Pierce (1657–1730) and Martha Adams (1658–1717). [1]


  • 1728 Caleb Pierce, age 37, married Hannah Tilden, age 31, in 1728, in Lebanon, Windham, Connecticut Colony.

Their children were:

  • 1730 The attached image is the will of Caleb's father, Benjamin, who died in 1730, wherein he stated: "I give to my son Caleb Peirce, over and above what I have already given him, Fifty Pound, to be paid to him by my son Thomas, thirty pound to be paid in a year after my decease, the other twenty in two years."
  • 1768 Caleb Pierce wrote his will leaving property to his wife, Hannah (who, in fact, predeceased Caleb, in May 1768), his daughter, Hannah, and his daughter, Mary. Executor was Mary's husband, William Murdoch. His will was dated "the 20 day of December in the Eight year of our Sovereign Lord Gorge the third." (1768) His will was probated January 22, 1770.   • 1769 Caleb Pierce, age 79, died on December 22, 1769, in Litchfield, Litchfield County, Connecticut, and was buried in the Old Cemetery, Lebanon, New London County, Connecticut. Find A Grave: Memorial #46157366 [4]
