Early Life

Sallie Ann Pierce was born in Kentucky on 6/30/1884. She was the first child of Joshua Little Pierce (06 Sep 1867) and Louise Rogers (July 1869). Her only brother was John William Pierce (18 May 1890). Her half brothers are: George Washington Pierce(1895), Thomas Pierce(1897), Vaughn Pierce(1908), and Richard Austin Pierce(1912). Her half sisters are: Susan Harriet Pierce(1899), Annie D. Pierce(1904), Frances Precilla Pierce(1910), and Nancy Satre Pierce(1916).

When she was 47 years old, her father Joshua Little Pierce died (4/13/1932).

Family

On 1/23/1901, she married Paris Fulton Beeler (APR 1877) in Union, Tennessee.[1] [2] She was 16 years old when she married Paris Fulton Beeler, who was 23 years old at that time. She had five children with Paris Fulton Beeler: Rex L. Beeler (07 Jul 1902), Ovie Ollie Beeler (06 Feb 1904), Ted J. Beeler (1906), Everet L. Beeler (15 Apr 1908), George Beeler (1912). Sally and Paris moved to Oklahoma to participate in the "Strip" rush of 1903.

She married Homer Abson Barker (07 May 1872) after 1918. She was 34 years old when she married Homer Abson Barker, who was 46 years old at that time. She had one daughter with Homer Abson Barker: Toni Leefern Barker (Abt 1931).

Death

On 2/21/1982, she died in Lawton, Comanche, Oklahoma when she was 97 years old.[3] On 2/24/1982, she was buried in Walters Cemetery, Walters, Oklahoma.[4] Her husband Paris Fulton Beeler died on 1924, 58 years before her. Her husband Homer Abson Barker died on 3/1/1943, 39 years before her.
