Thomas was born in 1796. He is the son of Thomas Pierce Sr. (b1743–d1795) and Hepzabeth Macy (b1751–d1821) who were married 30 August 1775 in
New Garden, Guilford, North Carolina, British Colonial America.
Thomas died in 1859 and is buried in Quaker Knob Cemetery,
Rheatown, Greene County, Tennessee, USA. Inscription
Thomas Pierce 12th Mo 7th d 1859 Aged 69.[5]
