Biography
David Bushell Pierce was born in 1917. [1] He was the eldest child of eight born to George Pierce and Lizzie Grayburn. His parents were farm workers. His middle name was for his father’s paternal grandmother, Eliza Ann Bushell.
David married local girl Rita Betty Neville.
They had seven children: Joy, Brian, Colin, Alistair, Ian, Kenneth, and Kay.
David passed away in 1984, aged 66, and is buried in Geraldine cemetery. [2]
