Hi Bonnie, As you know, for pre-1700 profiles a reliable source is required. FindAGrave isn't considered a reliable source (except for pictures of headstones). I'll add a Research Note that FindAGrave lists this name but without evidence.
Pierce -717 and Pierce-2891 are the same but both need to be Unknown. I have created Unknown-434534 and proposed a merge. Parents on both profiles need to be removed. Bio is on Pierce-717 Use data on Unknown. Objections to parent disconnect?

So now is it possible to change this profile Pierce-717 to unknown birth name? There also are sources that the Barbara wife of Michael Phillips married second to an Edward Inman. Can that be corrected? I think what I was originally looking at were the two Barbara Pierce profiles (Pierce-2891 and Pierce-717) with married names Phillips or Inman to be merged. However, it appears that Pierce is an assumed birth name for that Barbara.
Chris pointed the way to the John Peirce/Pierce whose dau. is Barbara and wife is Elizabeth Trull -- all well documented including the TAG article, John Pierce
The Great Migration Directory (2015) by Anderson has John Pierce page 264, cites TAG Vol 84 pp 177-184.
Summary: Daughter Barbara Pierce was born 4 Feb 1615/6. She migrated with her parents in 1637, not found in later records.
This TAG article, pub. 2010, is detailed investigation into "The Peirce Family of Norwich, England and Watertown, Massachusetts" by Patricia Law Hatcher, F.A.S.G. and F.G.S.P.
Name was spelled by the family "Peirce".
John Peirce m. Elizabeth Trull the 17th of April 1610. Yes, the John Peirce who died in Watertown, 16 Aug 1661, he was born about 1588.
Looks like Barbara Peirce never m. Michael Phillips, and Elizabeth Goodridge didn't m. John Peirce.
Sorry I'm not a descendant -- a lot of work is needed on several profiles to benefit from this article.
Ignore that last sentence -- the work is done (wow that was fast:) see link in comment above to Pierce-481
She apparently married 2x
See: PGM Project Reliable Sources: Find A Grave and Help: Reliable Sources
Keep up the awesome work!
I wouldn't merge the two Barbaras.
